A form of printmaking\, we will cut our own designs into 6″ x 4″ carving blocks. We’ll be using a material softer than traditional linoleum and then working with a water based relief printing ink to make our own prints. Great for making greeting cards or whatever you can dream up! Recently Charlie has been experimenting with using his carved blocks for making impressions in clay at the clay studio in St. Peter where he is a member. But for this class we will be printing on paper. You will be taking your carved blocks home with you for your own future use. The blocks can be used also to stamp onto fabric or other surfaces. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll the supplies will be included. Bring your ideas or just let yourself be inspired during the class.
